Today we walk and explore the UNESCO World Heritage site – Goreme open air museum. It is the first sight to be visited by any traveller in Cappadocia as its Cave churches containing beautiful frescoes and finest rock cut churches. We also stroll around the famous valleys of Cappadocia like Devrent Valley – also known as Imagination Valley as there are lots of Fair Chimneys and Pasabag Valley – also known as Monk Valley wherein we can see Mushroom shaped fairy chimneys. Later we get a chance to visit the widest Underground city – Kaymakli.
Today we proceed to Konya- The pilgrimage destination for Sufis, here we visit Mevlana Mausoleum and Karatay Museum. Later we proceed to Antalya- A Turkish resort city
Today we enjoy orientation tour of Antalya. We walk through Old town. Then we see Antalya’s Old harbour, Hadrian’s Gate, Clock tower, Hidirlik kulesi- The Roman Fortress. Then we drive through Palm Street. Later we proceed to Pamukkale- Famous for its healing thermal / mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified” waterfalls. On arrival we visit the beautiful snow white ‘Cotton Castle’, the ancient city of Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the main Street and Gates, the thermal Baths, the devil’s hole, and masterpiece theatre. Pamukkale’s terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs.
Today we proceed to Ephesus- The cradle of early Christianity. On arrival we enjoy orientation tour which includes, House of Virgin Mary, Great Theatre, Temple of Hadrian and Library of Celsus. Later we proceed to Izmir. From here we fly to Istanbul
Today we we visit the famous Hippodrome square also known as Atmeydani (Horse Square) in Turkish, then we move onto Sultan Ahmet Tsami popularly known as Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning their interior walls. Later we visit Hagia Sofia Museum – once a church, later a mosque and now a museum. Then we visit Topkapi Palace – which offers a true insight into the heart of the Ottoman Empire. Later In the evening, we shop for famous flavoured Turkish tea, Turkish Ceramics, Carpets, textiles, Glass lamps and designer wares to decorate your house from the Famous Grand Bazaar – largest and oldest covered markets in the world.
Today we experience the most scenic and beautiful Bosphorous strait through a Cruise which takes you around the city wherein you can see the European as well Asian lifestyle altogether.
